2005 is the 30^th anniversary that China establishes the diplomatic relations with European Union, so there are many key festival activities holding in the capital of Belgium, Brussels, among which China Culture Summit Conference on 5^th, September is the significant one. By the invitation from EU, USTC President Zhu Qingshi will assume the common president, chairs the conference with charge of EU International Department, Mr. Rafael Dochao Moreno and Brussels state secretary Ms. Brigitte Grouwels together. Moreover, President Zhu will deliver a speech “View the China’s Traditional Culture with the Modern Scientific Attitudes”. Meanwhile, he will introduce the academic achievements and scenes of USTC by the invitation. The major topics of the conference include:
