Dr. Chonka from the Institute of Science Information (SCI) has recently written a letter to notify that the journal Chinese Journal of Chemical Physics had been selected as one of the journal sources of the ISI, and the first issue of the journal in 2002 had been included by Science Citation Index-Expanded (SCIE), including the Web of Science, Chemical Citation Index and Research Alert.
The journal started publication in 1988. The China Association for Science and Technology is the institution responsible for the publication. Sponsored by the China Physical Society, the journal is collaboratively compiled by USTC, the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, CAS, the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, CAS, Tsinghua University and the Institute of Chemistry, CAS. Inclusion of the journal by ISI into SCIE will bring more people's attention to the papers published in the journal and further promote the academic exchange between colleagues in the field of chemical physics all over the world.
