Based on nearly one year preparation, 2006 Fire Risks Evaluating Methods and Applications Academic Conference, which jointly conducted by China Fire Protection Association and University of Science and Technology in China, is held on 18th, May, 2006. More than 70 representatives from the units and universities concerned attend this conference.
With Chinese live standards increasing and society being more and more harmonious, people begin to attach importance to fire risks control, so fire risks evaluating methods and application research have aroused the widely attention from experts and scholars who study in fire science and protection engineering, safety in production, insurance and regarding fields. Fire risks evaluation is not only the key technology in prosperous buildings fire protection design, but also has the vastly application prospects in city fire protection control, safety in industrial production, forests fire protection, fire insurance and so on. |
