The Green Synthesis Chemistry Joint Laboratory is instituted by USTC and SIOC (Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, CAS). The signature and nameplate-unveiling ceremony for the laboratory is held in USTC on 16th, Noverber. USTC Party committee secretary Prof. Guo Chuanjie attends the ceremony and addresses the salutatory, and President Jiang Biao from SIOC also delivers the ebullient speech.
Secretary Guo Chuanjie standing for USTC congratulates the establishment of laboratory and directs its future roads. He stresses that the Green Synthesis Chemistry Joint Laboratory is the foregone conclusion to the scientific development. Prof. Guo hopes both sides create a new model which benefits development of laboratory, and strive to make it be national key laboratory.
President Jiang Biao states in the speech that green synthesis chemistry is key project that the organic chemists are facing. To all the organic chemists, wastes utilization, contamination reduction and energy reuse concerning about the national economy and the people's livelihood are their responsibility. The joint laboratory is born with modern features and rich contents. Both sides believe they will do the work best.
