KUS president Jin Shengtou ( in Chinese pinyin ) headed a delegation of five to USTC for a visit from October 8th to 11th. USTC vice-president Hou Jianguo interviewed the delegation and introduced recent USTC developments to the delegation.
The delegation was provided with information concerning USTC undergraduate curricular plans, personnel cultivation, USTC's campus network and scientific / research work carried out by relevant departments in USTC.
President Jin Shengtou expressed the hope that a USTC delegation will visit KUS in 2002 to attend the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the Friendship Laser Lab collaboratively set up by the People's Republics of both China and Korea. | |
