The executive president of Chemistry and Material Science School, Prof. Chen Chusheng chairs the engaging ceremony, at which USTC President Zhu Qingshi confers the letter of pluralistic professor appointment to Dr. Ma Peihua.

 

Dr. Ma Peihua obtains the Doctoral degree of Science of Kyoto Institute of Technology in February, 1992. From May, 1999 to now, he takes the posts as vice president of CAS Qinghai Institute of Salt Lake, then president of the institute and vice-governor of Qinghai Province in a row.

 

Dr. Ma involves in long-term scientific research work, and gets many great achievements. "Carbon isotope laser-applying isolation chemistry" which he researches on hits the CAS Natural Science Second Prize and Qinghai Province Advanced Science and Technology First Prize. Currently he assumes several national important projects, such as Qinghai Salty Lake Lithium Abstraction and Comprehensive Utilization of the Resources and Comprehensive use of Bittern.

 

At the ceremony, President Zhu Qingshi delivers the welcome speech to thank Ma Peihua to accept the appointment. Dr. Ma promises that he will do his utmost to tighten the ties as well as accelerate cooperation between CAS Qinghai Institute of Salty Lake and USTC.
