Mr. Xu Huichen, the board chairman of US Dawning Light Foundation, with the director of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office under the Anhui Government, Luo Fang, pays the visit to USTC for grants-in-aid project. The vice president of USTC, Dou Xiankang meets and has the talk with guests.
The vice president of USTC, Dou Xiankang welcomes the guests' special visit to USTC, and gives the detailed information about school, stressing on student sources, needy student portion to the whole and functions of grant-in-aid system in USTC.
Both sides carry out the full discussions on setting up the grants-in-aid. Mr. Xu hopes to institute the "US Dawning Light Foundation Grants" as to offer the supports to 25 poverty but diligent students with annual RMB 100 thousand Yuan, especially students with leading talents, with the hopes to foster them to be leaders in every sphere of China's society.
US Dawning Light foundation is the non-profitable charitable organization founded in 2005, with the principle to sponsor the education in Chinese mainland. It is the first time that Mr. Xu representing the foundation has held talks with China's college for cooperation.
