First USTC Robo-Game Week Lauched in USTC

First USTC Robo-Game Week Lauched in USTC

USTC vice-president Hou Jiangguo chaired the opening ceremony of the first USTC Robo-Game Week on Oct.8th. USTC vice-president Cheng Yi delivered a speech at the ceremony. During the Robo-Game week, robot football games, robot dog shows and robot dances were performed. Lectures on robots were given as well.
The robo-games displayed the achievements made by the robot designers in artificial intelligence, communication transmission, precision machinery and some other related fields. As USTC vice-president Cheng Yi pointed out, "We endeavor to push forward robot research and competitions with the purpose of promoting university students' extracurricular scientific activities, and cultivating their capacities in scientific and technological innovations, practice and teamwork. In this sense, these activities are irreplaceable."
